This panel was begun in emulsions on location at Perranuthnoe church, not far from the ancient town of Marazion, Cornwall. I later worked it in oil paint in the studio. I love the way the piece captures the elemental spiritual atmosphere of the place, which lies on the Mary ley line, snaking its way from Land's End.
