Carol Walshe is a Falmouth born and bred artist. Carol's studio overlooks the Penryn River from which the artist derives much inspiration. Carol is a wonderful drafts-person and her work shows a keen sense of composition. Each work has a great balance and clever use of complementary forms that variably overlap or mirror one another. Carol overlays washes of watercolour to create depth, complex forms and pattern in her work. Pen picks out and defines the boundaries of foreground sails and boats and aids the overall composition and sense of design in Carol's work.
