Jane Roose's painting of Polkerris harbour and beach wonderfully captures the shelter provided by the stone quay that enwraps the small harbour. Polkerris is located on Cornwall's south coast about 2 miles west of Fowey and the south west facing beach enjoys glorious sunsets throughout the year.
'Polkerris' is a lovely composition clearly painted on one of those days when the azure blue waters and golden sands evoke thoughts of much warmer climes.
